OK, I'm sure you know there are a lot of lawyers involved with being a non-profit, tax exempt organization.  FATTY LIVER FOUNDATION is organized to be a non-profit public benefit 501(c)(3) association and is operated exclusively for educational and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue code.

FATTY LIVER FOUNDATION is not organized and shall not be operated for the private gain of any person. The property of the association is irrevocably dedicated to its educational and charitable purposes and no part of the receipts, or net earnings of the association shall be used for any activities other than its mission. FATTY LIVER FOUNDATION will always retain control over the contributed funds and will provide the relative information regarding its activities on its website.

 FATTY LIVER FOUNDATION is organized for the purpose of providing information, education and support to patients suffering with liver disease and to educate people at risk of developing liver disease. The primary emphasis will be on non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, called NAFLD, and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis, called NASH.  In context, NAFLD is the early formation of fat deposits in the liver which can result in NASH and cirrhosis with ultimate end stage liver failure.
